For the most part, clothing for the separate genders is different material. But then, its been a while since I set foot in a women's section.

just to illustrate what i meant then, the orange shirt is a men's 1x, and the brown shirt is a women's and, while made of a lightly stretchier material, is a 2x. they are drastically different cuts though.

I'm actually really disappointed with a lot of the clothing suppliers that ThinkGeek uses.

I bought a shirt recently that was supposed to be a Large. I returned it for a 1X. the other person in my house wears a medium and could barely pull it on. Their supplier sucks and freaking lies about what size the shirts really are.

Actually, the whole thinner material thing is more sexist than the messages on the shirts themselves. Why the hell are we required to pay the same for less acreage and thinner material?

I buy men's jackets for the same reason: because women's jackets are almost universally inferior.

heh, i'll agree with womens clothing being pricer than mens, especially if you're plus size. that's why i wear so much men's clothing.

Man, the think geek supplier is crazy inconsistent. I've gotten grab bag babydolls in XL, fits just fine. But I get the she-Ra shirt in a 2XL,because the reviews said it ran small, and it was still too snug (the cotton was also not as stretchy as the others I'd gotten).
