The Boston PD is saying they didn't rob a 7/11 now. They were just in the store WHEN it was robbed. Somehow that's almost kind of worse.

Fox is claiming that they are Islamic terrorists and keeps mentioning Al Qaeda. Not sure how they make that connection with ZERO proof.Violence has resolved more conflicts than anything else. The contrary opinion that violence doesn't solve anything is merely wishful thinking at its worst. - Starship Troopers

Remember the guy whose legs were blown off below the knee? He actually saw the guy put it down. He gave the description that led to pictures of the first bomber (the one who is dead). To not only survive his legs being blown off is awesome, to remember the details of the person he saw putting the bag down?

Make (an idea, situation, or problem) clear to someone by describing it in more detail or revealing relevant facts or ideas."My in-laws are country people and at night you can hear their distinctive howl."

All you can do is call an end to it before people start throwing things. ;p

Just to let you know about that gentlemen in the article. He works for Costco. I know my location and probably others are taking up a collection for him. They are trying to get the employees to donate vacation time to him too.

Am I the only one getting annoyed with the bombers' father continuing to show complete denial as to their guilt? I mean, I know accepting that your kids are murderous sociopaths can't be an easy task, but we have video of them putting down the bags and walking away. How much more proof does he need? At this point, even if his son confessed (which he basically did, since he told police that he learned how to make a bomb on the internet), the father would assume it was under duress.
Case in point:
The father warned, however, "If they killed him, then all hell would break loose."
"If they kill my second child, I will know that it is an inside job, a hit job. The police are to blame," the father told ABC News. "Someone, some organization is out to get them."Last edited by Seifer; 04-23-2013, 04:37 AM.

The conflict between denial and guilt is why the families, after the initial outburst of grief and denial, rarely speak to the public.
I sympathize with the family of the bombers. They are grieving too, and they did nothing wrong. But they will be treated as if they did.Good news! Your insurance company says they'll cover you. Unfortunately, they also say it will be with dirt.

- The bad guys are from Chechyna
- Chechyna has a fairly high Moslem population
- Remember a few years back, the school in Russia that was taken over at gunpoint, and the siege ended when vapourized Fenantyl was introduced into the ventilation system (killing a number of hostages)? The bad guys there were Moslems from Chechyna.
- Since there have been Moslem terrorists from Chechyna, and these guys from Chechyna committed a terrorist act, they are Islamic terrorists.

I read elsewhere today that thr mosque they attended has refused to host the funeral. Given the other unreliable reporting I'll take that with salt, but if true, calling them Muslim seems reasonable. Of course, even then it might well have nothing to do with their motivation."My in-laws are country people and at night you can hear their distinctive howl."
