Then she should add, "Wow they immediately and rapidly addressed my concern"

I am sorry people and companies make mistakes but we are basically with this policy saying, "Sorry you have to be perfect and if you make a mistake ever we don't care if you fix it you still made a mistake so you suck forever"

Except you're not "stuck forever" (that's a major reason the scorecard only includes the last year) and anyone who knows anything at all about eBay Feedback expects about a 1-2% level of Negatives because: a) nobody's perfect and b) 2% of all eBay buyers are batshit insane.

Honestly, anyone who gets thousands of Feedback comments and has no red in there is going to be far more suspicious to me than someone who has thousands of Feedback comments and a couple dozen bad reviews.

The seller apologized but it seems that he is fond of using lawsuits to get feedback removed.

I need to research this more but if this is accurate his entire apology is a lie. I would not trust a seller that is unwilling to own their mistakes.

The fun part is that the Feedback (unless it pushes them really low) won't actually affect their PowerSeller discount. it's the hidden star ratings that have the greatest effect, and threatening your buyers will do fuck and all to get those changed.

The place I work for recently got their rating dropped (turns out it's one of our people's fault, too) due to the star rating dropping below a full 5. EBay's calculated shipping fees are constantly wrong, overcharging buyers left and right. We average about 5 refunds for shipping every week (when it gets done). It was being left for over a month recently, which resulted in use getting dinged on the stars for shipping fees despite our Feedback looking awesome. We ship hundreds of packages out of two locations on opposite sides of the country every week, and I don't think we've ever had something arrive postage due, and we package and post without the USPS' help. If we had, the moment we knew about it, we'd do a full refund on shipping fees, because despite not being required, it's just good customer relations.

[eta] Oh, yeah, and totally waiting to see both parties throwing each other under the buss to try to get out of the Rule 11 sanctions, too.

            Update!

Med Express dropped the lawsuit. They got inundated with complaints.

However, there is more to the story. Apparently, the CEO has done this before many times. It seems he routinely sues people who leave negative, even neutral feedback. He sued one guy (and lost) who left neutral feedback (that was truthful) when Med Express canceled a transaction because Med Express broke the item and couldn't send it.

As I said, this just highlights the need for eBay to go back to the old way of doing feedback where a seller could respond to negative or neutral feedback with their side of things and let the reader decide who was right.
Good news! Your insurance company says they'll cover you. Unfortunately, they also say it will be with dirt.
