Was watching bowling when this commercial came on. Record lectures! Record piano lessons! Record greetings for other people! Skip to 1:04. "Flash Cord is so small, you can discreetly capture conversations and hear what people are really saying!"

Holy crap, what? Are they really advertising for invasion of privacy?
Violence has resolved more conflicts than anything else. The contrary opinion that violence doesn't solve anything is merely wishful thinking at its worst. - Starship Troopers

Disclaimer: I haven't watched the video and will not be watching the video.

If it's in public places or for recording conversations of which you are a part, it's not an invasion of privacy.

It might be socially unacceptable, and it might be creepy, and in many places it's outright illegal. But unless you are actually in private, then an invasion of privacy it is not.
Faith is about what you do. It's about aspiring to be better and nobler and kinder than you are. It's about making sacrifices for the good of others. - Dresden

I did watch the video; normally I would not, but I wanted to see what the product actually looked like.

Pretty simple and basic, can already be done with other devices.

Most of it is pretty benign. But they are setting themselves up for a lawsuit when someone records a private conversation illegally.

Of course, the owners of this gadget may be long gone by then.

Anyone watch the TV series Revenge? Nolan Ross has a much cooler device for this sort of thing.
Good news! Your insurance company says they'll cover you. Unfortunately, they also say it will be with dirt.
