So, a grocery clerk in the UK refused to wait on this entitled bitch on a phone. Of course, the management of the grocery store apologized to her.

Whatever happened to common courtesy?
Edited to add: I feel for the cashier, but she probably shouldn't have done this. On a personal level I'm glad she stood up for herself. However, on a professional level it was stupid. She had to know she'd get in trouble. I can't tell you how many times at work (in a call center) where I have to deal with someone not only talking to me, but also having a cell conversation on their other ear. It sucks and it's infuriating, but I have to deal with it because I know I won't get backed up by management if I call them out on it.
