An activist/author tried trolling some Californians by going up to them and asking for their support for Obama to repeal the Bill of Rights.

There's no mention of how many people declined to sign. But when someone did sign, the activist would repeated say "Repeal the Bill of Rights".

Reminds me of when 22 Minutes would send someone down to the US and get people on the street to congratulate Canada on protecting its national igloo or legalizing VCRs.

Granted, they even got Bush to thank Prime Minister Poutine for his support.

He probably got that from "The Man Show" with Adam Carolla and Jimmy Kimmel, which I was about to bring up myself. It was a bit they did once early in the show's run (maybe even first episode), basically to demonstrate that people are dumb.

The "end women's suffrage" thing is a popular schtick and has been going on for decades. You can find about 100 videos of it being done by just about everyone you can think of. Fairly certain that Jon Steward did a stint on his show, too.

Also, all a petition does is allow something to get put up to be voted on, so signing one without reading isn't really a big deal.
