    eh... at least they tried to stay somewhat positive. They could have decided to go with "Despot military group".

      Did she not, though? We're not seeing every photo she posted. We're seeing every photo that was posted by someone who had seen her whole group of photos, felt it was racist, and reposted a select number in a post about how horrible it was.

        That's the thing about Australia. There seems to be a big movement here about believing that we are sooooooooo racist, and manufacturing incidents to support that belief.

        A few months ago, a teenage girl at an AFL game called a part-aboriginal player an ape. Cue monstrous outrage - her name and face were screened on national television. Her family were pillorized as the 'ugly face of Australian racism'.

        If calling someone an ape was the most offensively racist thing they could come up with, I suspect the claims of culturally embedded racism are somewhat overblown.

        On a side note, one of the biggest names in AFL later suggested the player in question could advertise for the musical "King Kong". For some reason, he wasn't subjected to the same level of abuse.
