Which simply having guns in the house is not probable cause.

And all that had happened before my house got searched was my son got in trouble in school and mentioned that he would rather die than face me when he got home. (I am a strict but loving parent and proud of it.) I was told that we had to have a gun in our house and they needed to make sure so that he wasn't a threat to himself or others. We did NOT have a gun in the house. I was very angry about it.

But I read the paperwork and it did say that if they thought there was a threat to the child, then CPS and the Police had the right to search your house at any time. I signed it, without even reading, never will make that mistake again.

oh for *expletive*'s sake... assuming the kid merely said it, the kid would be dreading being told off, I would guess, at most. ( if the kid really was scared, he'd be looking to avoid going home at all)
