Oh my god, seriously?! Just because you didn't win a pass it's "rigged" and "not fair" and Olive Garden are liars, you didn't win get over it and stop whining like a little kid. As far as people creating a Facebook page about it, really grow up doing that is guaranteeing that you won't get a pass. It just makes you look like a child stamping and screaming in the corner because you won't let him watch tv past his bedtime. At least that's how I see it.

Even if they granted everyone passes, they'd still be pissed off because they can't physically fit all of the people into their restaurants, much less fit all the pasta they'd have to feed them.

So let me get this straight, Olive Garden says it's a contest or promotion or whatever for free pasta for life or something like that? They only have 1000 winners and people are bitching? Are these same people that bitch because there is only one Boardwalk out there (I presume the rare one is Boardwalk since I wallpapered a room with Park Place...kidding...I don't eat at McD's that much)? Or when the local radio station has free tickets...should I bitch because I always get a busy signal?

I don't understand either the promotion or the complaints. Well, except the one about not allowing carryout. Like *anywhere* lets you combine unlimited portions and carryout.

the promotion is that thye were introducing a new type of pasta, so they offered a promotion where ( it sees) the first 1000 people who signed up for the promotion got free pasta of the new variety for a week.

The complaint is that it was limited to 1000 people.

For most people this deal isn't such a deal. Unless you eat there multiple times a week, you won't make back your money.
