    Surely it's now time for people to mind their own business? Someone compared the case to Mike Tyson, who was also convicted of rape and, after serving his time, went straight back to boxing with no reprisals.

      I've far less problems with him being signed by a different club. My objection was based on avoiding him becoming a role model, not that he should have been barred for life. ( and to be frank, I have more issues with him insisting there is nothing wrong with sleeping with someone drunk enough that consent is dubious. Had he served his time, and either shut up, or his defense actually been somewhat valid (IIRC, his defence was "yes, she was drunk, but the consent still counts!!!"- if he had argued she wasn't intoxicated, i'd have given him the benefit of the doubt and said let him return to his original club))
