  • The Hell? Fedex Driver Possibly Kidnaps Dogs (dogs are safe)

I've not watched the video but apparently a Fedex driver may have kidnapped two dogs that were then found wandering the streets later and returned home. There's an investigation under way into this. What the hell?

um... I hate to say this, but there's clearly SOMETHING we don't know going on. the fedex driver didn't even bother concealing his face from the security cameras. That is not the actions of a reasonably intelligent criminal.

Security cameras aren't always easy to notice, and I don't think many houses have security cameras, either (although they are becoming more popular), so it might not be something the driver was expecting.

Plus, other articles have demonstrated to me that there are still a lot of really dumb criminals around, too.

I should clarify that by something we don't know going on, I think this was either some form of revenge attack for something, or the driver is insane.

one thing weird- the family was apparently at home at the time. which does make me wonder- I'd have thought the dogs wouldn't have gone quietly.

They're French bulldogs that live in a family with two small kids. Judging from the video where they are being manhandled by the children they live in a perpetual state of "Well. Guess this is happening now.". >.>

ah. That might explain why they wouldn't panic, then again, all the dogs I've known bark like at at the slightest provocation. ( then again, THAT might itself be an explanation- oh, the dog's barking again. Wonder what set him off this time?)

People are stupid about cameras. When someone stole the rocking chairs off the porch at Dad's office, they came up first with their face plainly visible, saw the camera, stared at it a bit, left for half a minute or so, and came back with their face covered.

If they'd instead gone home and waited a week or so, *then* come back with their face covered, there'd have been no way to know who it was because the first time would have been recorded over before anyone knew there was reason to look at it.

Some years ago when I delivered for Dice Pizza, we heard about a driver arrested in another city. A woman ordered pizza and when the driver arrived, he pushed in, assaulted and raped the woman.

Any surprise he got caught? I mean, how stupid do you have to be?

I own a french bulldog mix and he isn't a barker. He might bark if another dog is but usually he's very quiet.
