Not only being an asshole, but possibly exposing you to STDs! Because of course none of the cheaters ever think it will happen to them.

They also tend to think their mistresses will never get pregnant, and we see how well that always works out.

I had a friend with a half brother who had the same name and was born within months of him... Same name so dad the cheater didn't have to keep straight which kid he was talking about.

Then again, I have a full brother and two half-brothers all with the same name, too... >_>

Yeah, I got no sympathy for cheaters. They're assholes.

I didn't say these people were bright.

I'm kinda with you on this one. I wonder how he would have turned out if he wasn't raised in such a screwed up household.

On another topic, and because I'm too lazy to go back and multi-quote now that I've started, the people who outed Duggar did do their due diligence to make sure it really was the guy before they splashed it all over the media. The credit cards used to create both accounts are both in the right name tied to addresses linked to the Duggar family. Granted, somebody really bent on distraction could get cards in a false name and even link them to Duggar family addresses without actually being the person they're claiming to be, but it's unlikely somebody would put that much effort into something like that.

Well, seeing that he immediately admitted that the allegations are true, there's no way in my mind there could be some conspiracy against him. His own actions are what put him in the position he's in. I will agree that his upbringing probably has at least part of the blame for his problems, but in the end, he's responsible for his own actions.

Also, they would have to know the site was going to be hacked and data leaked.

So, to recap events of the last few months (working from memory).

Josh Duggar spent quite some time working for an anti-gay organisation, claiming homosexuality was destroying families, including members of the organisation claiming that gays were more likely to molest children).

It's revealed that Josh molested his sisters on several occasions and the family covered it up.

He's been revealed to have more than one paid account on a website aimed at people being unfaithful.

He's been revealed to have a second facebook page where he only friended local strippers (and possibly sex workers - can't remember the exact details).

Josh Duggar, folks. Turning satirists into newsreaders for the last twelve months.

I don't think I could make anything else up that could come out, but I thought that before, so something tells me this isn't the end of it.

They caught that obnoxious Christian vlogger on AM too ( You know, the one that creepily surprised his wife with her own pregnancy ).

                    This in particular:

“I have sought forgiveness from God, and he has forgiven me, so I have been completely cleansed of this sin,” Rader continues.
                    What fucking self absorbed arrogance.

Not going to deny the arrogance, but by Christian dogma in all denominations, he's right. As long as he's truly sorry, has made reparation for his wrong, and tries to not repeat, God will forgive.

Most people would be quiet about it though.

yes and no. He's cleansed of the spiritual consequences- although I'm not exactly sure he's actually sorry, so he may not be- but he seems to be trying to imply that he shouldn't receive the temporal consequences- that Divine forgiveness should absolve him from any consequences whatsoever. THAT is what Gravekeeper means, and I wouldn't be surprised if God took a rather dim view of such claims as well. ( IIRC, Jesus was once asked if they had to pay taxes to the Romans, and more-or-less said that yes, they did have to. The same principle seems to apply- where there are both spiritual and temporal consequences for your actions, spiritual forgiveness doesn't mean you can't face temporal consequences.

True, but he didn't break the law, so there's no crime there. And his wife, church, and fandom seem to have all forgiven him, so what punishment is there that he'll truly care about?

I also doubt he's truly sorry, but I'm not the final judge on that.

What stabler said. Its not the dogma, its the "Oh ya, me and God are besties and he totally said its okay so we're all good now right?" attitude that his shit don't stink so to speak.

Also, looks like he got tossed out of Vlogger Fair yesterday for threatening another vlogger. I'm sure God will do him a solid on that one too.

I completely agree with you on that point, but still I wonder if he would have turned out to be a decent human without the creepy upbringing. Maybe if he hadn't been raised the way he was he either wouldn't have felt the need to secretively search for an affair, or feel the need to hid the fact that he likes porn, or whatever. His entire view of sex and sexuality is far from healthy, and he's still young enough that he could learn, but is he mentally strong enough after such a brainwashed childhood to seek education on what healthy sex/sexuality looks like?
