    ahhhh! you hate me!
    #10 along with Evil Dead 1 & 2.

"Don't let him live rent-free in your head."
    i like that quote.

and for people i ... well i don't really hate them just really dislike...

    - People who assume there's something wrong with me for not watching TV. ... sorry but um, most of the shows I find boring, get over it.

    - People (in the US) who can't take left hand turns without cutting into the oncoming traffic lane & then glare as if I'm at fault for being in their way. Hello? Learn how to fucking drive!

    - People who call me stupid or decide I'm not worthy because I follow a different political opinion. Get over yourself, you're not THAT special.

    that's all for now.

Oh and people who hate me cos I like Army of Darkness... (just kidding, Dr!)

People who get on me for sometimes saying the N word.
personally, I'm against all racial slurs, even if the person using them is of the race in question.

Yeah, but is it a slur if it's not used as a slur? Lots of words have more than one meaning, depending on how it's used....bitch, bastard, ass, hell what if I happened to own a pet monkey that lived on my porch, would he be a racial slur too?

Probably worthy of a thread of its very own. Possibly has been done as such.

I was ready to start a whole thread about this, but I figured I'd just add to this lovely list we have goin' on:

I can't stand people who always have to preach about health issues, no matter what it is. In particular, people who automatically turn into registered dieticians when you tell them you're simply trying to "watch what you eat."

Whether it's your co-worker, friend, acquitance, hairdresser, store clerk, random janitor (in my case, at least); it seems EVERYONE had to tell you that what you're doing is wrong and that their cousin's neighbor's girlfriend's aunt lost 50+ pounds eating only cabbage soup or some crap. Then have to nerve to tell me that what I'm doing probably "isn't good for me."

Right, because it's not like I talked to my doctor about it or anything

If people start telling you that you have to follow some special diet to lose weight, just whip this out and watch their eyes cross.

another one... not so much that some people try to invite me to go to church with them, but they do so after I've already said that I have one, thanks.

It's not a word respectable people use. I don't care if what color they are, it's not a word anyone should be throwing around. It's offensive when white people use it. It's offensive when black people use it.

I have black friends, too. They don't use the word either. I woudn't hang out with the type of people who think it's okay to casually throw around something that is so offensive to so many people.

Yes, a lot of words...the ones you cited, for example...have dual meanings. The word we are discussing does not. It only means one thing.

I understand where you are coming from....you're right when you say either it's offensive or it isn't. I dont' buy that business where it's okay for some folks to say it but not others. It's a low-rent word no matter who is saying it.

Figured I'd add to this thread since this just happened.

People who go around work, looking for donations from other employees. I'm a civilian employee at a local military base. We just had some woman from the security office downstairs walking around, asking everyone for donations to some fund to help families of soldiers to support them. One of her selling points was that it will go towards helping the soldiers kids go through school such as college. You know, if I wasn't already about $10,000 in debt from college with one more year left of undergrad and possibly grad school (though everyone I've talked to in grad school for chem said not to so I dunno), I might donate. But I just can't afford to donate lots of money like full-time employees. And don't give me a dirty look because I won't donate.

Canvassers (I'm looking at you Greenpeace) who will try anything to get someone's attention after they've made it clear they're Not Interested. I've had them follow me down the block (complete with lame-ass pickup lines), even try to grab me once or twice (do NOT touch me uninvited unless you want to lose an appendage).

My standard out "I lost my job and am having trouble even making my rent now", was challenged once by a smooth-talker pointing out my iced coffee ("You could help us for the cost of coffee for a week" with undertones of "you just said you didn't have any money, why do you have that then?")...even if I did agree with all of your viewpoints/tactics, I have NO MONEY TO SPARE you twit! I'm not giving my credit card number out on the street in any event.

                      Another quick addition:

Idiots who try to requisition supplies that they are not authorized to obtain. Stop it. You are giving me more unncesscary work. You suck.

*People who assume that, because my husband is from another country(it's sort of obvious when he speaks-slight accent, and also when you see his name or he says it; very Scandinavian), he must be stupid and/or not speak English and therefore they have to talk realllly slooow and draw out their sentences. Uh, some of those European countries, if not most of them, start teaching children English when they're really young. My husband probably speaks English better than you do. I know he speaks it better than me, so chances are, he speaks English better than you, as well.

*People who think that because I'm in a wheelchair, I'm stupid, or mentally deficient or something. No, just... No. Double that when they hear the Southern accent. No, still not dumb, but please, keep talking down to me while I fumble with the joystick on my chair.

*People who assume that because I'm female, They need to ask for someone else's help in the electronics dept. where I work. Uh, hi, I'm the unofficial department head, soon to be official whenever my damn supervisor gets the paperwork in. I know my shit. I. Can. Heeeelllp. Yooooou.

These are the top 3. There's probably more, but these are the ones that piss me off the most.

People who, ANYTIME a smoking issue is raised, will point out how bad smoking is for you. Bonus points if they go off on a tangent about how shitty and inconsiderate ALL smokers are.

Yes, I fucking *know* smoking is bad for me, however, I was simply complaining that I couldn't find my lighter. I wasn't asking for an invitation to tell me something I already know.

I am also a considerate smoker, so STFU.

It's too bad there weren't more considerate smokers. Half the reason we're being banished is because of the rude and a$$hole smokers.

                            I hate rude smokers.

Try driving a F250 (a 3/4 ton pickup) in Phoenix rush hour traffic. I had that happen to me 3 times in one hour. All the cars that did this were compacts or sub-compacts.

Try doing it with a F250 or F350 towing a loaded horse trailer. Yeah. There's a reason I give myself that much room to stop.
