And I thought bad AI was going to be the worst Uncharted was going to throw at me. Here's the thing it's not the changing genre's part way through thing that bothers me. The show The Ranch in more recent seasons has increased it's drama shifting away from Sitcom towards more Drama. But TV shows and movies will self label with accurate, usually, genre labels.
Uncharted is in 2019 labeled as an Action Adventure game. There is not a single hint of survival horror in anything I saw about the game when I was deciding which games to get. Yet suddenly I'm in the middle of high tension zombie fighting like what the hell?
I don't like Zombies. They freak me out. The mindless rushing to kill me with 0 strategy. It's a large part of why I won't go back and ever finish Prince of Persia The Warrior Within because of the Dahaka's mindless pursuit of you. I wish this Anti-Spoiler culture didn't keep me from finding out something may not be for me prior to me getting into it.
