I personally find that shit hilarious. Most of the time, the smart dorky girl/guy don't even get a second look. Most people claim that they want the quiet, smart, nice girl/guy. Most people are also full of shit as they never go for the quiet, smart, nice girl/guy.
Unless the quiet, smart, nice girl has a great rack and a tiny waist. Not that I'm bitter.
It's not even necessarily the width, it's whether you can actually manage to use it worth a crap and if you can stay awake afterwards to make sure she's taken care of.
That will net you FAR more kudos than being able to massage her cervix with your penis.
I'm not going to lie....size helps. But girth helps a lot, too. There is hope for the men out there hung like a tuna can.
Back on my own tirade, it would be nice if we could tone it down with the "So in walks this trampy looking bleach blonde with big boobs wearing a halter top and heels, I bet she wasn't smart enough to even put her shoes on" bandwagon on CS (and to put things in perspective, IRL too), and then for pages and pages people go on and on about wanting to date dorks and gamers and geeks instead.
I don't personally have a thing for gamers, "geeks" and "dorks" but I don't go on and on making fun of them and saying "Oh I prefer the Brad Pitt look with the designer clothes and the nice gelled hair and the six pack abs" because I just know everyone will hop right down my throat.
I get it, I get it. All big busted skinny girls (especially blondes) are retarded sluts, and dorky gamer girls are hotter. I get it. Shut up now.
Hey, I have an idea. A truce. No more making fun of men's penile shortcomings, if we tone it down with the whole "Every good looking person is obviously an idiot and probably a bad bad person" bandwagon. K?
blas, I have no problems with big busted skinny blonde girls. They are quite nice.

Yay for you, Greenday! I get that it's a stereotype and sometimes you have to be the one to step out of the shell and say enough is enough, quit it.
Seriously, think about it for a while, people. While I may not be BJ or have a penis, I am really glad he made this thread, because I had to get something off of my C cups myself.
It probably hurts your feelings or makes you twitch when someone calls gamers or introverts "geeks" and "losers", especially when people stereotype you as a socially retarded loser who doesn't shower and lives in your mother's basement, or if you're a girl, that you're just a freak of nature and that no man would want you because you spend more time playing games or reading books than socializing.
Well you know what? It hurts me too, when I read about how social people are all "sheep" and that we're all so predictable and pathetic because we enjoy socializing and meeting new people and, especially if we take some pride in our appearance or we happen to be good looking, oh that must mean we are stupid and rude and we're mean to anyone who isn't as good looking as us, and we must not be able to enjoy anything simple in life, when the reality is that some of us probably read or play video games sometimes ourselves, and we don't all parooze around town acting like Paris and Lindsay.

Kinda hard to have a truce when I've never done that in the first place.
DOH! Clicked the link, then realized I can't access CS at work. Damn you Deparment of Defense firewalls!

Apologies, BJ, I wasn't referring to you personally, more of a general "you" and a general truce amongst us all.
Edit to add: I realize in my 4 and counting years at CS, I have made blanket statements and said some rude things about general groups of people. And I took my warnings and advice in stride...and sat aside and watched other members make blanket statements and threads with pages and pages insulting people like me....and for the longest time, I just kept my mouth shut (or rather, my fingers still) because I figured hey, this is what I get for talking crap about dorky guys, older men, older women, and the elderly......this is how I used to make some people feel, now I know, ok I get it. Then once I read this, I felt the need to speak up. It's not as ubiquitous as I make it out to seem, but those threads and topics do exist....and even though they don't happen every day and you can't pull up a search with several pages of threads like that, I have seen them and read them. And it gets really hard to not respond or react when I read that.
Keep in mind that many stereotypes exist, because there usually is some truth to them. For example, locally, the vast majority of the "beautiful" people...are idiots. (Not trying to slam you.) Many of these people have always gotten by on their looks, and have rarely had to do anything themselves. Also, they all seem to have the attitude that everyone else has to kiss their ass because of the way they look, and that everyone who doesn't look like them...is inferior. Resentment is *exactly* how that stereotype got started, and why it continues.
But, I should also mention this. Appearances aren't everything. I admit, I like the T&A as much as the next guy. However, I don't let that be my only criteria for "hotness." No, I actually do prefer someone that I can have an intelligent conversation with. Oh, and by that...I don't mean discussing the complete works of Shakespeare. I mean, that she's not using "like" as every third word, and I don't have to explain everything. Of course, if intelligence and looks ever came my way... I wouldn't complain
Back to the original topic, and trying to escape the thread hijacking that's happened:
I'm lucky in that, from what I've been told, I have no reason to be self-conscious. And yet, I am. Why? Because I've never compared myself to other guys. I don't know what average is. I don't know how I compare. I don't know if I'm being told that I have no reason to be self-conscious to protect my fragile ego, or if I'm being told the truth.
Toss in the overwhelming emphasis on how important it is for guys not to have a tiny penis. It becomes very very difficult to avoid worrying about it. Am I adequate? Does my partner feel that way? Even though she seems happy, and even though she says she's happy, is that for the benefit of my ego? How do I know that she's not just saying what I want to hear?
Should it matter? Of course not. Just as breast size should not matter. And yet, even though it shouldn't, it does. Reality sucks sometimes.
I'm fascinated by some of the outcomes of this thread so far. Makes admining CS far more intriguing. With a smaller group of members, you find that there are only so many permutations of people. Fewer ways to cause offence, if that's making sense. From an admin point of view, each extra person dislikes or is offended by different things, complicating it more.
I may start another thread on this elsewhere.

duh, I could have told you that. I even know smart dorky guys/girls who aren't interested in smart dorky guys/girls. I know that I'm in a minority in finding smart dorky guys to be about the hottest thing imaginable

there is something to be said about being gay in that you know VERY well where we stand... also it is very easy to know if your partner is being truthful about whether or not you are doing a good job because, well, being blunt, a guy knows how a guy acts when there is genuine pleasure and we can tell when a guy is faking it... but that's really a different topic.
And you're right, size shouldn't matter... and I know that I wouldn't write a guy off for having a small penis, I'd even go so far as to say that I'd prefer someone with a good personality over someone with a big dick... sadly, I'm enough of a realist to know that I'm happy to have a big enough penis to be able to hold my own in the real world

Whoa, wait a second. Guys fake it?
