Preferences are just that. Preferences. It doesn't mean they're "requirements."

I've dated lots of great (and not-so-great) guys, with all sorts of different appearances and personalities. I gave them all a fair chance.

II was gonna say this exact same thing. Yes, I have a marked preference, and I ended up marrying that preference, but it wasn't because he happened to physically be what I preferred. That got my attention at first, of course, but he certainly wasn't the first man I ever dated that I was very physically attracted to. I married him because of who he happens to be. I got really, REALLY lucky.

I mean, it blows my mind how lucky I got.

Had he been short and blond, though, I still would have married him.

Broom, I nearly wept when NPH came out. I had a huge crush on Doogie growing up, and when I heard the soundtrack of Assassins *swooooon*
