  • Originally Scheduled to Go to Colorado, Now Kentucky!?

I was supposed to be travelling to a base right outside Colorado Springs for three weeks for work. Airplane, hotel, food, rental car were all to be paid for. And it's freaking Colorado Springs. I was pretty damn excited.

Then the other day I got an email telling me that had to switch me to a two week trip to a different base that is in Kentucky and Tennessee. Wtf? I want to go to Colorado, not Kentucky and Tennessee! What the hell am I going to do in Kentucky?

ft. campbell is only a short drive from nashville. there's all kinds of stuff to do there. and if you have any time off while you're there, east tennessee is only a few hours' drive, and is gorgeous. straight south is chattanooga, and there's plenty of scenery there as well. you'll also not be far from mammoth cave national park in kentucky, which is pretty awesome.

        Louisville, Colorado.
        Louisville, Kentucky.

Clearly this confusion was easy to make.

Yea, I have to fly into Tallahassee in order to get there. I heard about the caves, which is cool, but I might have to share a car with some other guy I don't know and odds are since he already has his travel arrangements set up, he'll be the one renting the car and not me.
