It's a phase. Around that age, kids will question EVERYTHING. I dealt with it with my sister and I am pretty sure I questioned everything at that age too.
Even though those are silly little questions like that, it's the fact that the child is learning about his/her environment. In your case, body functions because that's a curiosity too. Since you are the child's parent, it seems to them that you have all the answers.
Your child will grow out of it. In the meantime, it seems that you trying to push him out of the way is causing him to question more.
Why are you pooping? Well, it's natural.
Why are you washing your hands? To kill all the icky stuff.
Where are you going? Into the living room. (They are still in that attachment phase.)
