  • Ebay's "more confidence" goal

I've just tried to sell something on Ebay.

The buyer, after 10 days, has now decided not to pay for it (because, he won't make any profit once he on sells it!)

How do I tell the rest of the world not to trust this person..???

    I can't!

Ebay removed the option for neutral and negative feedback about a year ago!

Sure, I can understand the retaliatory side of things, but whatever happened to honesty??
ZOE: Preacher, don't the Bible got some pretty specific things to say about killing?

SHEPHERD BOOK: Quite specific. It is, however, Somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

Yeah, I thought that was bullshit too. I tried selling my old Sega a few years ago and the buyer never got back to me after I sent him the invoice. After emailing him several times throughout the week and the week after I finally filed a complaint with eBay and gave him negative feedback. He retaliated with negative feedback claiming that I had "agreed to cancel the auction". He lost his account a year later or so. XD

The only thing I can think of is to make a thread on the Trust & Safety or Seller Central boards warning about the guy (post a synopsis of what happened and an item number; others should be able to find the buyer through that)..

Ebay's starting to suck. Buyers have all the power, sellers can't take anything but Paypal (and with the double-dipping on fees they're taking almost 10% once all is said and done), Paypal will always side with the buyer even if a seller can prove they're scamming...I've heard stories where buyers have returned a rock in a box and get the money back because Paypal doesn't care exactly what gets returned, only that something is.
