Okay, first post here. I need to let off some steam about certain people that piss me off. This can be said for people online and off line. And by the way I use "You" toward the people who this stuff could apply to.
1. People who feel the need to justify or defend someone they really like when they were obviously in the wrong, especially with regards to celebrities. Look, I understand that you don't want to think anything bad about your hero, but don't expect everyone else, even die hard fans, to feel that they are flawless in every way. It doesn't mean you have to stop liking say... Christian Bale just because of his tirade, but at the same time, he did overreact (giving youtube tons of material in the process).
2. People who talk about how much harder they have it (or had it as a kid) to try to minimize my issues. YOU'RE NOT HELPING. Just because you have less money, stricter parents, harder work, or a combination of the three, doesn't negate my own problems. We all have different thresholds, maybe mine is just lower. Personally, I think they are just trying to put themself on a mightier level by bringing me down, the most cowardly tactic one can pull.
3. People who use extreme examples against you in arguements. Just because I think our schools are way too strict doesn't mean I would support students being allowed to do what they please with no consequence. I just think that many of the rules are unnecessary. I see the difference between wearing a hat to school and vandalism, but perhaps you don't.
4. People who TRY to find faults in something. I had a relative who would always be on my case over the slightest things. Forgeting to say "please" and "thank you", forgeting to pick up a candy bar wrapper, espressing the tiniest bit of displeasure, and asking my parents for anything. If that stuff reallly bugs you that much, you need help. Personally, I think they had something against my parents and were attacking me to make them look bad. Cowards!
5. People who attack people over mispelling and then over half the thread gets turned into finding faults, ala #4. Yeah, I'm not the best speller, but as long as you can read it, don't bother attacking me. I don't want to hear "people won't take you as seriously if you can't even spell right". Screw you! It's a god damned internet forum! It's where I go to chill, not worry over whether people will take me seriously or not. I have enough of that as it is.
Well, rant over. I know there's more things like this that piss me off, but those are the big ones. Feel free to add your own.
