In Japanese it's Amerika and Amerika-jin. Vermont is Baamonto.
I actually get kind of irked when I hear this "USan" or "USian" business. There's a guy on another forum who uses this relentlessly as an insult, it's rather annoying.
Hell, most people don't even know Vermont is a state! They think we're part of New York or worse, Massachusetts. That makes me shudder.
