It's turning into myspace or something. And by that I mean the reliability. I'm actually new to facebook, relatively...joined back in February or March...and at first I was all happy with it, because I'd been growing to hate myspace. You can't even log into myspace anymore without errors and slow loading times and HTML 404 911 bitmap torrent CDG errors and lots of other big words.

And now it seems like facebook is going in the same direction. For starters my notifications are way off. When it tells me "Joseph P. Mitchell commented on Matthew Elroy's status" and I click on it, it takes me to Michael P. Comar's post to show me that Walter O'Reilly commented on it.

And the newsfeed is all screwed up, sometimes its current, sometimes all the posts from the last 2 weeks magically disappear, sometimes one post gets shown a hundred times! And then I'll post something and its not there, and then it shows up in last weeks posts, and then its gone, and then....

And I can't even post videos to my newsfeed! Everyone else can. I'm always seeing how William R. Fratcher is posting his new political video about the dangers of drinking and driving or a slideshow of his family pictures, but if I try to post a video, doing the same exact thing, it doesn't go up on the big newsfeed thing for everyone to see. It just goes directly on my wall and only people who would bother to check my wall in the first place will see.

Oh Facebook, why didst thou forsake me!?!?

Honestly, I'm not all that into Facebook. I agree, it's too much like MySpace anymore. And more and more, Facebook wants to make you more public accessible. I'm not down with that. I do love Twitter. I post to twitter near daily. It's everything I want without the noise (applications, tag me in this photo, just general BS) and privacy concerns. I really like it.

I will say this. I really like Facebook. I have had to set all of my privacy settings so no one that I don't know can't randomly see my profile. The applications can be fun but you don't have use them. I mostly use my profile to keep in touch with my friends. I move out of state and now I'm lucky if I see them once a year.

I joined Facebook several years ago, like back in 2006, but I just recently started using it actively. I rather enjoy that newsfeed. I rarely post anything of my own to that thing, but I love reading the stuff everyone else posts.

I have myspace, facebook and twitter. My ghost hunting group is on all three also. On Myspace, I will log on once in a blue moon. I am on Facebook everyday. I post on twitter, when I feel like it. To let all my peeps know what I am up too. I have it set up so that I can post on twitter and it will post onto facebook also. I got tired of myspace. It got crappy. I never had any problems that DrF, is having. I find that Facebook and twitter is actually the best ones.
