Well, since in the first, it's really his mother, that's her being Wrath. In the second, it also fits. It's been a while since I've seen the third, but even killing anything in his way fits being Wrath, as nothing can come between Wrath and its target. It's not like he really goes out of his way to kill people (well, until later in the series, but I stop counting most horror movie instalments after #3 or 4, since the makers feel they need to really up the shock/horror/gore stuff to keep the audience coming back).
