I am having a good time *grrrr*

I really am having a good time. I woke up this morning (Thanksgiving) I had some cereal, played some games then went and took a nap. Then I got back up surfed the web and played some more games.

I have fielded a couple of calls from people wishing me happy Thanksgiving. I thanked them wished it back and moved on. Some people think that this is sad or that I should be upset and miserable. Uhm Why?

The one person I would want to spend today with can't be here. My dad always made holidays special cuz he was the glue. He has been gone for 8 years now and my family has gone from assholes to oh my god some of the worst people I know. I don't like Jerry Springer type drama.

So stop telling me that it's sad that today I am doing my own thing and relaxing enjoying a paid day off of work.

Saturday I will have my own feast where my friends and my daughter will be to help me celebrate the holiday with the people I truly care about. So for all those that think, "oh how sad" Bugger off and get bent.

After my first wife and I split up, I spent the next 3 years doing nothing for either Thanksgiving or Christmas. And I loved every minute of it. Once my current wife and I get our own place again, it'll probably be the same thing, only better because sex will be involved :: )

Saturday I am doing the whole turkey feast thing I have friends over, my daughter and her guardian over. People who care about spending the holidays with me not just doing it because we lived in the same house for 19 years.
