People who false report

I am not even going to start this out with "I understand" This woman is so many levels of piss me off.

Normally I would put this in CS but honestly this is about the false reporting more. A customer called upset that she would have to wait for our tech to come out for a COURTESY call so very snidely said, "Fine then I have a gas leak," Forcing me to send a tech out today.

What if someone dies because the tech had to go to her "leak" first.

What if two people call an ambulance and one is closer to one person and the other person dies.

How often do others see false reporting and should I lighten up or am I right at being pissed at this?

No you do have a right to be pissed. Because that woman is stupid, another person could end up dieing.

Nope, because that would imply it was her fault that bad things happened. Obviously since something bad happened, it was someone else's fault.

Yeah, I hate when people do stuff like that to try to bump up their priority level.

Actually different person this time and this one there was no question or doubt in my mind that she was false reporting. I knew it and she knew I knew it.

Tech actually disregarded my notes and did what she wanted him out there for.

Gonna be on him when every person in that area hears her story and starts crying gas odor and all his orders are emergency calls.

I wish we could do that but the law says that if someone claims odor we have to take their word for it hell technically they could say, "I am about to fake an odor call so you will have to come out, " then say I smell gas and we have to come out.
