That there is the issue! She doesn't want to ask for help.. so - the council obviously should just be nice and do it for her, because she's got too much arrogance and an attitude! Since her neighbours haven't volunteered to do it for her, I may take a guess and say she's a narky old bitch!

I recall hearing about some old lady who refused to go and get her driving license, and mounted up tens of thousands of dollars in fines..and still refused! Finally, got caught, and was going to court and possibly facing time behind bars (or community service) which she was going to rant and rave about.... how dare she take what benefits society offers, and yet kick up a stink because of something she disagrees with! Cake - to eat or not to eat - that is the question! (even if it is a lie!)

Some neighbors across the street have their own, customed sidewalk; had a nice, thin layer of ice on it Sunday when everyone else's normal sidewalk was perfectly fine. Had a nice slip on it that day and my left knee still hurts.

Related to the original topic, I live with my grandmother so atleast I can shovel the sidewalk. Now, I just wish that the city or someone would shovel the sidewalk that runs along a stretch of I-95 (a town I used to visit up north had a similar problem with a bridge that had a sidewalk, but now that I think about it I remember that said bridge was either being demolished or replaced as it was made of old, crumbly stone).
