You could get a utilikilt for hot days. (and they look kind of...hot. In a good way. )
Interesting idea, though.

If I saw someone walking barefoot in the snow, I would also engage them in a conversation about it. I'd try to determine if they needed help, financial or mental. Because it's just a strange thing to do.

I have walked barefoot in snow. I realize it's a little...off.
It's not like I go hiking barefoot (although I have done that, too, just not in the winter.) in snow. But I'll run out to the shop or the laundry room or whatever in snow barefoot.
If you saw my feet, you would understand. I literally have Sherpa feet.
I'm not saying it feels good or that I don't feel the cold. I do. But my feet are so tough I can tolerate it longer than average. I can conversely walk on burning hot asphalt that others can't do barefoot.
Until my feet start getting cold, the snow actually feels kind of nice. The texture is interesting and the cold is refreshing. Then the cold sets in and it starts hurting and isn't so fun anymore.

Might I suggest Harley Davidson biker boots? For the money you pay, they are worth it and last a long time. I've had mine since seventh grade and I am about to go into my second semester of Freshman year of college. They are warm and sturdy."It's after Jeopardy, so it is my bed time."- Me when someone made a joke about how "old" I am.

Uh, because that crap is popular? Never understood the brand appeal...but that's just me
Thought I'd throw this in here. I *hate* to get dressed up. Sorry, but suits and ties aren't for me. Did that crap all through grade school, and can't stand it now. Why is it that "good clothes" are the most uncomfortable things ever?
I do know that one of my co-irkers got pissed at some of us last year. She actually got offended that we didn't get dressed up for the Christmas party. Boss took us out to a nice restaurant up the street from the office. Most of us didn't feel like driving home, and just wore what we had on. Most of us, boss included, showed up in slacks and knit shirts. Needless to say, there was much whining because we were "making her look bad." Yep, this from the person who had a bit too much to drink...and fell off a bar stool

Okay, I am a brand whore when it comes to North Face....but ya know what? I actually hike in my NF goodies (and I got all of 'em on sale)
They are well made and last forever. My simple shell jacket keeps me really warm when I'm out walking/hiking.
I giggle when I see chicks in NF who are afraid to go outside....but to each their own

A few weeks ago, some club on campus was trying to raise money for some charity or another. One of the guys asked some girl walking by if she could donate and she responded that she doesn't have money. His response? "You can afford a North Face jacket and Uggs but you can't afford to donate a dollar?" Owned.Violence has resolved more conflicts than anything else. 2) The jacket and boots coud have been gifts
3) If some charity said that to me....they'd never see a donation from me, even when I had cash on me
