Movie snobbery (could also apply to TV shows)

I'm a sucker for the backstory! That's what I liked about the remake, it actually felt like there was a connection (at least to me) between him and the audience. I actually turned the original off half way through.

That and I love Rob Zombie. Though that didn't really flavor my like of the remake as much as it could have.

I can't really agree or disagree b/c i'm on both sides of the argument.

I like comedys and LOVE zombie flicks (how much more 'mindless' can you get than a zombie movie?). But I also love alot of those fucked up movies you have to watch 4 times to finally pinpoint wtf is going on (the machinest, memento etc.) and a few indie films.

But whether it's a stupid comedy, a blood and gore filmed horror flick, an over the top totally ludacris action movie, or a more serious drama type movie i watch em all for the same reason. for entertainment :P.
