AH, quit raining on my fucking parade!

It's always been a thorn in my side, but the most recent example I have (IRL) is the other day, I posted on FB that I wanted to throw snowballs at all of my neighbors' doors because they had all woken me up periodically throughout the day.

We had a mini-snowstorm that day and then it got really cold.....and my inconsiderate fucktards of neighbors, as they all came home that day, were stomping like elephants up the stairs, and either kicking the steps or the rails or their doors to get snow off of their shoes, then of course, slamming their doors. And in the winter, when the air is so dry and cold, sound is magnified so it's hard to miss. The stomping and the pounding and kicking had me just outraged, so I thought it'd be lighthearted and funny to post something like that.

Lo and behold, I get to work and one of my coworkers who is a FB pal said "I hope you really didn't plan on doing that, you could be arrested you know."

Well no shit, dumbass. I wasn't REALLY going to do it, I just had to vent and it made me temporarily feel a little better imagining myself doing it. People should know me better than to think I'd actually do something like that.

All in all, I just hate how sometimes people just want to vent (IRL or online) and maybe get a little carried away, and some random schmuck has to come along and go "Well technically, that can't really happen" or "You could be arrested for that!"

Just fuck off and let me vent. K? Thanks.

Odd, people never tell me that when I'm venting via detailed plans involving turpentine, lighters, a balaclava and a 1911 O.o

Maybe that says something about my demeanor.........

Moreover, I'm tempted to point the finger at the 'but WHAT IF they're NOT joking !???!??!??!1?1///!/!one!!slash!11' crazyness....

Blas, I get that too. I hate it with a passion. Why can't they just let us vent.

I enjoy a good rant myself from time to time. Sometimes it's out loud and at work. Something about blowing the whole place up, killing a few people, etc. I usually get told "You can't say things like that!"

It's sometimes soothing imagining various ways to do so... one of my personal faves involves a beach ball, the idiot in question's rectum and an airhose, a waterhose would also suffice.

I wonder how those other people relieve stress sometimes, especially when you just need to vent right then and there.

What? no belt sanders or acupuncture needles?!?!

On topic for a moment: It kind of freaks me out that I could have been banished from my high school dozens of times over due to a simple venting session... that would've sucked...

              Oh, I hate that!

On a related note, my mom has decided that some or all off-the-cuff/facetious/rhetorical comments I make must be responded to as if I was serious (which ends up coming off as condescending). Why do people do that?

Those are the kind of people who take everything so seriously and everything must be totally logical. I have a friend like that and every time we watch a movie, I have to explain to him that it's just a movie and logic need not apply.

As my name suggests, I love to vent about stuff that pisses me off, so I get even more pissed off when people pull that crap on me. I got this all the time on other rant sites.

You'd think on rant sites, rants would be welcome, but on the few I've visited, rants would be met with condesending lectures about how it's their responsibility, how their rant is worthless, how their spelling sucks, and how petty they are being neverminding the fact that those sites are meant for people to vent about shit. I once posted a rant about college only to get comments like "Shut up and be glad you're going to college" and half of the other comments were making fun of one little spelling error I made, saying that I should have never gone to college because I made that one little mistake.

Ironically, it's those people who I find it to be the most sastisfying to rant about.

Well see, I can understand people getting upset over threats of blowing stuff up, etc, etc.....

But I mean, ranting about wanting to pummel your neighbors doors with snowballs or wishing ill upon a manager who has it out for someone, a coworker who is setting someone up.....obviously we as people tend to get carried away at times, and it sure DOES feel great to rant and vent, even if you go into the realm of impossible.....but then that one person always has to come along and tell you that it's not legally possible or technically possible, etc.

                        What the hell ever.

Yeah, but still... pelting someone's door with snowballs? Really, that's so terrible that someone needs to lecture someone about saying it? Are these acid rain snowballs that withh dissolve the door? Is the snowball made with a depleted uranium core, so it will dent and smash the door? It's--- a SNOWBALL. Not to make a bad pun, but- oh who am I kidding, I mean to do this- CHILL OUT, people!!!

If you hit them in the face with the snowball, does that make it a CHILL PILL?!?!
