  • What the hell Dommino's?!

Okay maybe it's just me but the latest Dommino's commercials piss me off. The commercials show people in a focus group talking about Dommino's pizza, then people from Dommino's went to thier houses and asked them on camera what they think now. my problem is this: I thought focus groups were supposed to be private and secret, and yet if someone says "Oh we need those peoples' names and where they live for a commercial" then it's ok. The whole "we need to prove them wrong because they don't like us" thing to justify that makes me mad. Anyone else?

Either staged or they have grounds for a lawsuit.

Seriously messed up either way so glad I watch TV on DVD.

Staged. Before a production company will publish anyone's likeness on air, they'll get a signed statement from that person allowing the use of their likeness. Especially in advertising.

That and they probably hired actors...

Probably. Haven't seen the commercial so I can't say for sure. Sometimes companies prefer the 'genuine' responses of everyday folks.

And now I'm forced to order Domino's to see if their pizza really did get better. This could determine where I order our pizza's for our second meeting of the club I'm the treasurer for.

I refuse to order from them because I went to college with one of the local delivery drivers and we have bad blood.

                This just in!

Domino's has definitely changed. It's not bad.

Mr. Rum definitely likes it much better now than before.
Every Friday is "pizza night" at our house now.

I might try it the next time I'm getting a pizza and Pizza Hut isn't running a sale... If they really have improved them, all I can say is that it's about blanking time!

I'm not a fan of Domino's. No pizza chain beats Pizza Hut for me, local places are a whole other story though. It's all about the crust .

Oh god yes. The only thing I miss about this small town I used to live in was the local pizza place.

Quality of their pizza over here is decent, but it's damned expensive.

Can't think of any other major brands. I usually just prefer whatever place delivers and has decent side items. And not too greasy. I hate greazy elbow from pizza. Papa Johns was pretty good in Georgia.
