Well i'll put it bluntly cause i see no other way to put it or any reason to put it any other way. I'm a violent person by nature it seems these days and am easily prone to anger. Useually i'll play voilent video games to let off steam but that hasn't helped much lately so i go back to what i used to do. Which is punching things instead of people. But my question is this what can i do thats a bit more constructive and less destructive to myself. I have tried a lot of other things but not much helps i've tried walking/running, meditateing, distracting myself, and quite a few other things that i can't think of off of the top of my head. So any advice would be helpfull oh and i do have access to a punching bag just hard to get to so useually its the fridge that i hit. But anyway on a side note hello every one

A good starter is medication. I have that same problem, I'm extremely violent and prone to anger, but I have never struck another person except in defense. I slam doors, I kick over a trash can. The other day I kicked a gas pump and twisted my ankle. Dumb.
But when I was on my citalopram, it really helped curb that sudden rush of anger and rage. I didn't feel that need to destroy something.
Try that.

I used to be really easy to anger until I got a job, where I had to learn to keep in under control.
Now, if I'm angry, I lock myself away from people and find a simple activity where I can focus my energy. Coloring, ranting on the phone, squeezing a stress ball (balls from the blood bank are extra helpful), or writing about it on a piece of paper to say what I want to say, then ripping it up and throwing it away.
Those things may sound stupid, but it really works.
And yes, I still color at age 18. Big Whoop. Wanna fight about it?"It's after Jeopardy, so it is my bed time."- Me when someone made a joke about how "old" I am.

Talk to yourself.
I'm not kidding.
Although, it's easier if you live alone or get plenty of alone time. While you're getting ready in the bathroom, while you're going to the bathroom, while you're driving (who cares what people think, most will think you're on a bluetooth or something anyway). Just rant to yourself.
Exercise. Simple exercise. You may not be able to talk to yourself without getting funny looks at a public gym, but if you had a punching bag or a treadmill or even if you just ran in place or did some jumping jacks and let it all out, GOD IT FEELS GOOOOD!!!!
My favorite thing to do is while I'm exercising, I rant about anything that is on my mind that is irritating me. It really helps the time pass, and it puts me in a much better mood before I go to bed.
I also rant on Fridays and Saturdays while I'm getting ready to myself.....while putting my makeup on, while curling my hair, while getting dressed or applying lotion.....
I've been doing this for almost 3 years. It has really helped me mellow out.

Baking your own bread is a good way to relieve frustration. Just pretend that the dough is whoever or whatever you're upset about as you're kneading it. A nice benefit of this is that homemade bread makes the house smell really good and few things in life are better than a fresh hunk of bread hot from the oven.

I'm the same. My wife is making me remodel the basement because I put a big hole in the drywall when we were discussing something and I totaly lost it (to clarify, I was not angry with my wife and had no intention or impulse toward her).
I read and smoke. When I get angry, I calmly remove myself, roll a cigarete, and take out my phone (I have my sci-fi books on it). It works. I'm a smoker, so obviously the cigarette works, but also the fact that I'm doing something that I like, reading, while holding something I like, my smartphone. Tripple deterent.
