My gripe for today is about the fact that some people apparently have a REALLY hard time getting their e-mail address correct when registering for websites, and so I end up getting their e-mails. (and yes, I know I can block things, but when it keeps happening with the same people, it gets tiresome)
This has mainly been an issue with a few women in Minnesota - "Ella" was registering for dating websites using my e-mail address instead of her own, and although I was able to get the said profiles canceled, she kept re-registering. So I finally ended up logging into the site, and changing the e-mail address/password to gibberish.....I suppose I could've contacted their customer service, but I had no way to prove that I wasn't "Ella".
And then we have "Susan", who's registered on sites like Classmates.com and local news sites using my e-mail address.
