One of my cats did something like that with the laundry bag (not any machines, thank God!) I was packing a bag of laundry to take to the laundromat, and when I went to pick it up, it felt heavier than it should have. I opened it up, and one of my cats is inside staring back at me, just chilling out.
But you let the cat out of the bag, right?
