  • Car horns in radio ads

If there is one thing I hate about radio ads, it's the ones with car horns/sirens in them. EVERY single time it happens, I end up darting my eyes in the rear view mirror wondering what the guy behind me wants.

There seriously needs to be restrictions on using these sounds on the radio. It's annoying and disruptive to people's driving. I'm willing to bet that it's caused at least one accident, somewhere, sometime.

Agreed, I hate having to figure out if it is the radio or an actual sound I need to respond to.

Theres one Screaming Trees song that has a keyboard part in it that always makes me think somebody left their cell phone in my car.

The horn honking one is really bad but what I hate is the police siren on so many songs.

I hate those too, for the same reason. A false alarm like that could easily cause a car wreck. Could the companies who use those ads be cited if their siren ad causes an accident?
