  • Cowards Who Make Racial Comments

I was at work when this happened. However due to this being about racsism I think I'm better off posting here.

I was outside getting carts in last night. There was a car sitting just outside the door. Inside the car was a hispanic (This is important) man and his child. I don't know why he was sitting there. Anyway a van pulled up beside them and stopped. This is what I heard:

" GODDAMN FUCKING LAZY MEXICAN, GO BACK TO MEXICO!!!!"

Then the van sped off, squealing tires and all.

Oh my God are you fucking kidding me? This really pissed me off, and the little boy had to hear it too

    Very cowardly, indeed.

If you're going to be a racist prick, you should at least have the courage to face the consequences of your ignorant opinion.

I wish there were a law that forced this asshole to stay behind and watch this man explain what happened to his little boy. Maybe next time he'd think twice before doing something like that to a fellow human being.

I hear it all the time at work. Assholes that come to me and scream that my coworkers need to go back to Iraq before they poison us. Or insulting the /fucking muslims/.

Sorry. 1: They're Eqyptian. and 2: They're Christian. There are other religions in the world you know. And not so shocking, they hate muslims too....

They act like I'm on their side. I may not like some of my coworkers, but it was never because of their race.

Same with old boss. Get people coming in all the time calling her that jap bitch, or go back to china.

Why? she does her job damn good. She's got a fucking masters degree in business. She has excellient customer service. Your just pissed because your 22 years old with No ID card so that means no beer.

I was glad to be able to kick out quite a few for their stupid racism bullshit.

Even other customers weren't safe. I had people flat out call other people racist names. Some waited until they left.

"How fucking dare you let that nigger in front of me go! I was in line first! Don't ever let fucking niggers go before me!"

Yeah... you said you weren't done yet. You had no problem waiting while I sold him his jerky and soda. And seriously? Your bent out of a shape that a 12 year kid went before you, simply because he black? What the hell man?

I work in a racially diverse place, so I don't get a lot of that, but everyone's a friggin homophobe there. I get to listen to everyone bashing whatever "Fag" or "queer" they've managed to identify out of the group.

It's annoying to the point that I feel like I should maybe say something, but I doubt it would do any good.

My dad is a little bit like this. He wouldn't abuse anyone who is black, Mexican, etc., but he does like to throw around ethnic jokes and slurs, and he does like to stereotype people from other ethnic backgrounds, especially black people. For example, either this past year or year before last on Thanksgiving, there was a story on the national news networks about someone who got trampled at a Wal-Mart store during the Black Friday sale. They showed video footage, and my dad quickly pointed out that many of the people trampling the person were black. Also, after the 2008 election, he kept saying that the black people would eventually turn on Obama and accuse him of being an "Uncle Tom" who needed to "come back to the hood with the bruthas and the sistas." (He was saying that they would turn on him for acting too educated and not "acting black.")

A close friend of mine used to be like that. He might still be like that, but if he is, he's toned it down quite considerably. For reasons I didn't know, he didn't like black people, and every so often he'd get into a rant where every other word out of his mouth was the N-word. The rest of us found it annoying, but never really bothered trying to talk any sense into him, until our one friend (who is now my wife), who is hispanic, asked him if he ever noticed she's not exactly white. He backed down a little bit after that.

Back when I was still living in the city, where there were a lot of black people, he was riding with one of our other friends to my place. I found out after they got there they he yelled the N-word at some black people as they were going past, and my other friend almost pulled over and kicked him out of the car right there.

He eventually told me where his dislike of black people came from. When he was little, he was playing at the playground, when a group of black teenage boys surrounded him and began to threaten and harrass him, and it ended up with one of them stabbing him in the hand. Once he told me that, I sort of sympathized, but it still doesn't make it right to blame an entire group for the actions of a few assholes.
