No, I just wanted to point it out. It was getting way too serious for my liking. Too bad no one bet on me about it. That'd been interesting.

I don't know...most threads seem to end up hijacked at some point around here.

It would have been a fool's bet.
      Point to Ponder:

Is it considered irony when someone on an internet forum makes a post that can be considered to look like it was written by a 3rd grade dropout, and they are poking fun of the fact that another person couldn't spell?

What's that phrase/saying about "Better to be a fool..."?

          Oh...so now you're calling me a fool?

"Better to be called a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."
"Better a witty fool than a foolish wit."

          Is that what you meant?

          Nice personal attack there.

          Just messing with you.
          So how does it feel?

Oh, my bad. I meant that towards me. I was calling myself a fool.

Being misinterpreted is what happens a lot to me, so it feels the same. I think the second one is better suited to me.

You both fools man! I'm the King Fool! All Hail Emperor Plaidman!

Strange. I always liked Emperor over President. Why is that?

Emperor entails an authoritarian regime, personalist, with all executive power within the emperor. A president can be voted out.

Cuz secretly you yearn towards a monarchy? XD

A small bit of threadjacking isn't a problem as far as people are keeping generally on topic; what bugs me is when you can be having a serious discussion on a forum when someone butts in with an "I like string!" comment that has everyone going, "WTF?!" XD
"Oh wow, I can't believe how stupid I used to be and you still are."

Hmm. Lifetime of having no say to instantly having final say? Ok. totally me?

I do like Kings and such. I am a fantasy lover... But even so, I still like Emperor over King. Or Tyrant. But that just cause Badrang was one of the first tyrants I read about in a fantasy setting.

Who's the more foolish- the fool, or the fool who follows him?

And does anyone else find it funny that Hobbs threadjacked his own thread so he could talk about... threadjacking? :: )

                        That, Alanis, is ironic.

Actually, the full quote is "Better to remain silent and thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt." - Abraham Lincoln [emphasis mine]

I guess that makes me a fool, since I have a hard time keeping my mouth shut.

Yes...I did know the exact quote and the source.
                            Thanks, though.

I had decided to paraphrase just because I was really only posting to mess with Hobbs for the fun of it.
