Sorry, but this really is a pain in the ass. To be fair, it wasn't this forum that brought up this annoyance. It was a forum for a flash game developer. All I wanted to do was ask a question regarding lag on one of the games. Since the developer had a forum, I figured I could check the forums for a question. I eventually signed up because my question wasn't already answered in the forums, but of course, my question had to be approved before it could be posted. Luckly the approval only took a couple hours so it wasn't that big of a deal, but it's still annoying.

    Yep.
    It's a pain.
    It sucks.

Blame the damn spammers, trolls and spambots.

    They've ruined it for everyone.
    Point to Ponder:

Is it considered irony when someone on an internet forum makes a post that can be considered to look like it was written by a 3rd grade dropout, and they are poking fun of the fact that another person couldn't spell?

Mainly, my only complaint is that sometimes my responses are buried by a dozen other responses that have posted while mine awaited approval. I counter by figuring out the times mods are on (hiya Boozy and Ree) and responding during those times. That is, except for posts like these when I just know I need to reply before I forget.

I figured it was the damn spammers that make that option a good idea. It's still a royal pain in the ass though. I didn't mind it as much on this forum as I did on the game one though. On here, I'm just posting rants and opinions, but when I just want to ask a simple question, it's really annoying.
