  • things I love- karmic justice

I was going to put this over on CS, but I knew how quickly it would devolve into fratching territory, so I'll just skip straight to fratching.
for those unfamiliar with the Bell/Fair case
    http://injustice801.com/DJ_Bell_and_Dan_Fair/Home.html
It appears that karma is coming back to bite every guilty party involved.
The South Salt Lake Police Department is still two years later being grilled by the media about their handling of the case (fucking pigs , I hope this pressure goes until every last member of the force has ulcers).
The DA that charged Mr. Bell for kidnapping is now on the stand for the case against the attackers.
The city prosecutor is in hot water because he apparently was going to offer the attackers immunity from hate crime laws for testimony in the kidnapping case.
And here's where karma comes in, if I understand the news story that was just on, the judge has decided that the offer was not valid because the kidnapping complaint was a false complaint.
Those fuckers have quite literally provided, by themselves, all the evidence that is needed to convict them, and unlike so many before them, the worthless piece of crap we call the 5th Amendment to the Constitution will NOT protect them.
It warms my heart to see the Ms Lulu Latu on TV crying her eyes out as her homophobic little world crumbles around her, it warms my heart to see a homophobic south salt lake court system knowing that they will actually have to serve justice this time, and knowing that the homophobic south salt lake police department may never regain what little respect they had gives me faith in a deity.
And, I highly doubt that karma is done yet. If anti-immigration laws are passed in Utah, it will be because of racist prejudices on how violent and prone to criminal activity immigrants supposedly are... you just know that if the laws are passed many in the immigrant communities will blame this family for proving the stereotype.

Worthless piece of crap called the 5th Amendment? Now I know your slipping off the deep end with your hate. How can you call the amendment that protects against self-incrimination, double-jeopardy and due process a "worthless piece of crap"? I'm seriously confused here, considering you're all for equal rights and justice (but apparently, only for those like you).

I have police officers in my family. I think anybody who refers to them as "fucking pigs" no matter what the situation should have to go a month without any police protection and see what they feel like calling the police after that.

Yes, because the couple in the story really benefited SO MUCH from the police protection that they received after they got the shit beaten out of them and then accused of kidnapping because of their sexual orientation. Just because someone wears a badge, does not automatically make them a good person. The police, and the DA in that story, were fucking pigs.

Smiley, that's a horrible story but I'm really glad to hear that something good is finally coming from it after so long.

I don't care what they did, thats a horrible thing to refer to the police by. Its like if a gay person does something bad and calling him a fag, or a black person a nigger. Its simply not apropriate.

Police are like everyone else: some deserve respect, while others, there aren't names bad enough to call them. On a lighter note, if these particular officers were indeed fucking pigs then they can be arrested for that alone: it's illegal in Utah, though surprisingly only a misdemeanor offense

He didn't refer to "the police" as pigs. He referred to the police involved in the situation pigs.

the "worthless piece of crap" in question

"No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation"

Hmm so actually if you KNOW the constitution-it was that "worthless peice of crap" known as the fifth amendment that kept them from sitting in jail forever, or on death row-Due process of law means they got their day in court to prove innocence-without the fifth amendment-they could've been jailed on heresay or immediately executed....

So if a black person breaks the law its apropriate to call him a nigger?

The term "pig" is closely associated with groups who want to murder as many officers, good or bad, as possible.

It was referring to specific individuals, not police in general, kind of the same difference as african americans and "niggers" ( I can't remember what it was but I remember seeing a clip of an interview with a black man and him talking about the difference between an african american and a nigger) or the in your face overt "fag" and his hags and a gay guy.

Actually it's most commonly associated with members of the Suidae family, where you get this crap about wanting to kill as many cops as possible I don't know, it's simply a perjorative most commonly used in England.

Seems like I'm confusing word usage on Fratching again because I've NEVER heard using the term pig being associated with people who want to murder cops. It's like calling a woman a bitch or a man a dick.

Uh, yeah. The crazy guy who was the ring-leader of Helter-Skelter back before even *I* was born.

Does this have a point? Or is this simply your 'citation' that there are organized groups who refer to cops as 'pigs' and want to kill them all?
