At first he considered it because she didn't mention the part where she was going to keep dating. Then she kept dating people and this kind of pissed him off. Now he is sick of having to prove himself to people who apparently don't know him as well as we thought.

Right now he is out of town for a couple weeks visiting his dad. I personally told him to do the same thing she is doing date other people and if at some point in the future she wants to date consider it but not wait for her.

I once heard a comedian talking about such - he's the dick she's yet to use behind the emergency glass window. Break glass in case of emergency.
