This happens all the time - I open up chrome, and it goes to yahoo where my homepage is set, and I immediately click on facebook or wikipedia or imdb or wherever the hell i'm going, but then i glance down and see that there's a really interesting news story right on the front page, but then its gone because my website loaded.

So then I go back to yahoo, and it's nowhere to be found. Not on the front page, not by scrolling around with all the frontpage news, its just gone, like it was never there.

I hate that!

I hate that too... but have solved it by setting my home page to None

oh, you mean your yahoo homepage actually lets you go to other sites
Seriously, mine will every single time I try to type an address halfway through switch back to the search and not the address bar.

Mine actually works when I go to Yahoo. So I am not much to give advice on that one
