Fuck the elderly who need assistance walking! Tell the one-legged Veteran that he needs to get off his ass and walk like the rest of us for God's sake! Just had knee surgery? Man up you pussy! Walk it off.

Or had you neglected to consider that other people need these scooters than just fat people because you just hate being inconvenienced by having to wait for someone to move their motorized cart so you could get whatever you were after?

I have no problems if they are used by somebody whose disability is somehting other then putting mayo on everything. If somebody has a legit need then they should use them. If somebody just hates moving then they shouldn't use them because they need the excersize anyways

But if you can do whatever you please, and others should just avert their eyes, shouldn't everyone else have the same rights? Even if there isn't a disability involved, isn't it up to them if they eat too much food and don't exercise? I mean, if you can flaunt decency laws, what grounds do you have to suggest anyone else do anything.

And I hope you change you mind about appearing unclothed on your balcony before someone reports you for indecent exposure.

I doubt the police are going to stake out my house to wait for the possibilty that I might come out naked.

I believe people should be able to do what they want as long as it doesn't adversly effect people in any way. I think excessive peircings look dumb but I just don't pay attention to people with them. The only way I can ignore a fat person blocking half an aisle of the grocery store is to not go shopping ever.

So, you can stomp all over your neighbors' right to not have to see you naked outside your house, but god forbid you have to see a fat person ever.
Do not lead, for I may not follow. Do not follow, for I may not lead. Just go over there somewhere.

I'm not forcing them to look at me nor am I doing anything to draw attention to myself. Why do they get to stomp on my right to decide what to wear when I am at home?

Because your stomping your feet and deciding on what others should and shouldn't eat, and what weight people should be.

Really sucks when your own beliefs are turned against yourself isnt?

So because I disagree with something that negativly impacts everybody I shouldn't do something that literally has no impact on anybody.

You know, can be very silly sometimes.

Really? People's weight never affected me.

Never affected any of my friends.

                  Never affected people I know.

So... yeah. It doesn't negativly impacts everybody. It only impacts a few close minded people that are concieted and belives looks trumps everything.

Which ironically, are sometimes the same people that belive they must show off their bodies for any reason that comes to mind, such as checking weather.

You've never paid for healthcare, gone out to eat, or been any place where you sit next to stranger?

                    • Yes, Yes, Yes.

Never affected me. People's lives are to live how they see fit, as long as it doesn't harm people.

The only thing they do to harm you, is your ego. They're not hurting you physically. Not hurting you emontionally. Just your ego.

                      • If people affect how much you pay, what is availiable to you, and invade your personal space then they are hurting you

                        • I find it interesting that this facet of the debate is still going. This is, what, the third or fourth time a topic has turned to Red Panda's opinion of fat people and how she perceives them affecting her life? Isn't it obvious that her opinions, no matter how logical they may or may not be, will not be swayed nor more accurately explained at the insistence of any of the members here?

I agree that the topic of whether one should be forced to cover up or not in this circumstance is an interesting one, and I see the alleged hypocrisy Red Panda's stance in this matter in comparison to her stance on the overweight, but I'm getting kind of tired of the repetition.

Contrary to what you seem to think, being at home and being in public are not mutually exclusive.

When you're standing on a balcony, in your backyard, or on the lawn in front of your house, in full view of other buildings and other people . . . Yes, you are on your own property, but you're still in public.

And people don't have an absolute right to wear whatever they want - especially if what they want to wear is nothing - when they are in public.

If a person wanted to stand naked on his/her front lawn, in full view of the street, sidewalk, and a dozen other homes, would you support that, too?

                            • See I think the issue is that Red Panda is actually overweight herself and this is all some sort of messed up self hating denial which has been projected on fat people in general.

And as for the flawed logic she is a woman and we all know that female logic doesn't exist. I mean we're all just a bunch of stereoptypes.

if you couldn't tell, that was a joke.

on a serious note, in regards to fat people YOU CAN CLOSE YOU FUCKING EYES, YOU CAN TURN YOUR HEAD AND YOU CAN DO ANY NUMBER OF OTHER THINGS.

And btw this woman's son starts asking questions about naked fat woman across the street and the different body parts which stresses out the mother causing her to go into therapy, that's how this can negatively affect you.

                              • Closing my eyes won't change the fact that fat people take up tons of space and make health care rates rise and burden paramedics and all sorts of problems.
