Intolerance should be unacceptable in society. Of any sort. Sexism, racism, religion, doesn't matter. NO ONE should feel "shamed" by who they are, who they want to be, or who they choose to be. Laws do and should apply to all equally and without bias. I don't care what you look like, being naked in public is indecent exposure. And I don't care what anyone else thinks I look like, I wear what I want. I am ashamed of nothing. And no one else should feel that they need to be.

Job? Are you the taste tester at a pie factory? Are you in charge of cleaning up piles of chocolate and the only way to do so is to eat it? What job makes you gain weight?

Having a sedentary job where you spend 8+ hours a day sitting at a desk, or at a computer or what have you can cause you to gain weight. Sometimes people are simply too tired at the end of the day to go out and exercise, that's not laziness on their part.

Stress? Maybe you are stressed because you only have three jars of gravy to go with dinner instead of five. Stress won't make you gain hundreds of pounds

It can and does cause people to gain a lot of weight. You really are ignorant. High levels of stress can cause anyone to gain weight, sometimes a lot of it. You're giving the impression that you think "fat" people don't have any reason to be stressed. Which is BS.

If a fat person is naked in their home that is their issue. They should show shame at their condition and do everything to avoid showing flesh, but there is no way to stop them, other then letting them know they are not acceptable in society.

Not all fat people think of themselves as ugly or think they should be ashamed of themselves. Also, not all things "society" thinks are acceptable make sense or are right, you seem to blindly follow stereotypes that society thinks are acceptable. It's just the impression you give to me anyway.

Also, how many of these horribly fat people are you seeing on a daily basis? I'm very curious about this.

Oh, boy. Here we go again. Overweight people do NOT affect others. Yes yes, health insurance. I'll just beat Plaidman to it and ask, once again, about Smokers--who stink up the air (sorry, all Smokers on board, but it does. And breezes push it around making ME cough at a distance), or people who drink, or how about those with cancer who need their insurance to pay for hospital bills? Whoo, they push premiuims through the roof.
