    stop fucking poking the animals

    thread over at the main site got me thinking of a story that i heard on second life voice chat.

    posting it here because it is a little contraversial - or could become so.


    Pet store had a parrot that had been previously abused. The result of the abuse was that the parrot HATED anyone who was the same race and gender as that abuser.

    A family came in to the pet store and the son kept poking his fingers into the cage - even after the employees specifically told him the bird WILL attack. (The child was the same race & gender as the abuser).

    But of course... the kid doesn't listen. And the parents... who knows what they were doing but it sure as hell had nothing to do with stopping their son from poking and poking.


    And as warned... the bird attacked. Not a small peck either. He bit the tip of the kid's finger OFF.



    So naturally.... parent sued and won.

    and because the bird was "dangerous" (especially to people who don't fucking listen to warnings) ... it had to be killed.

    Why can't stupid people be euthanized? They are more dangerous than a flock of traumatized parrots. Stories like this annoy me on so many levels.

      I feel that there needs to be a system in place wherein everyone gets a card that allows them to kill three people with out fear of reprisals.

      Then the smart people will go and hide until the resulting bloodbath clears up and we outnumber the stupid twats. Then we say "Fuck the limit" and kill the stupid people.

      I figure we could deal with overcrowding, dwindling resources, and increase the intelligence factor of the Gene Pool in one go.
