Trouble!

I don't know if I really hate it, but it really bothers me.

I know it's just a joke or some people's ways of being humorous, or even just being friendly and maybe not knowing my name or how to talk to me, but it still just irks me because I've heard it my entire life. I know nobody really means it that way, but it irks me every time someone says to me "Ooooh, there's Trouble!" or "Hey Trouble!" or "Be careful of her, she's Trouble!"

I know, I know, it's in jest 99.99999% of the time but it's just like.....can't you think of anything else to say? The same people always say that to me.

I would say it's their way of starting conversation or maybe he doesn't know or remember your name. I know I'm terrible with names.

I'm also a victim of this but I'm also of guilty of it. My youngest son's girlfriend litterally has the same name as my middle daughter. Everytime I said Jordan I'd get two people or ignored. To remidy this I started call his GF "Jaws". I had heard once upon a time Darrell Waltrip's nickname was Jaws because he never stopped talking. Well Jaws also babbles incessently therefore the nickname of Jaws was assigned to her. At first she wasn't all that happy about it but she's a polite young lady and didn't say anything until one day she asked by and I told her (she thought on it a few minutes and said yep you're right I do talk a lot.) From then on that's what she wants our family to call her and several kids at school. Heck her Dad has started calling her that.

All that being said I'll make an effort to keep that in mind.
