    Ah. Well, of course biology would be required of a biology major, and yours, too, sound like it ought to be. I was in computer science, and so could take any of them. (and avoided biology for much the same reason I took bowling and golf for my two required PE courses)

      I also hate students who try to dominate class discussions -- asking questions upon questions upon questions, spouting what they know or think they know about the discussion, or clowning around because they think they're being clever. These are the students who must speak every time the professor or another student makes a point about the discussion. I paid my tuition and fees to learn about the topic of the class, not to hear some nitwit prattle on endlessly.

        People who actually ask questions when the class is just about over. If you have a question, just wait until the class is over so the rest of the class isn't held up.
