  • Stay off the tracks, assholes!

Was a demonstration up in Stockholm yesterday. Bunch of nazis, nationalists and other similar-minded folks holding a march for a 17-year old who got stomped and stabbed to death 10 or so years ago. Each year, the leftist retards come out trying to interfere. This year, they had a most cunning and devious plan - many of those participating in the march would arrive by train, so they would gather on the tracks to stop the train long before it reached the station. Police came and removed them by force, to which I ask "why?". If they are so fucking stupid to lie on the tracks, then LET THEM. Let the fucking train run them over. Good riddance I say. While I hate both the leftards and the nazis, I have to give it to the nazis, they don't act like fucking retarded monkeys on crack when they are out and about.

Yes, I value me coming home from work on time FAR MORE than the lives of a bunch of idiots who decide to lie down on the tracks. Not that I was on that train, but I'd be pissed if I were...

What say ye, fellow Fratchers? Should we let people cleanse themselves from the gene pool in this fashion?

Well, things like that will happen if the Righttards pick the wrong place to hold their activities.

Oh, no! Perish the thought of Nazis and Neo-Nazis acting up.

As a leftie myself, I have to say the lefties in this story were fucking retards. I mean come on! Risking your life to protest a memorial?! I don't even think Westboro Baptist Church would be that stupid!!! I hate the nazis as much as anyone else, but they aren't worth dying over!!!

So in other words, yes, but unfortunately, they would probably be able to sue and get their way. I can't believe I just defended the nazis....

Could someone link me to a source that says that there were people on the rails and that they were the Leftists? All I can find is this article, but it didn't go into specifics as to who did what.

          (Notice that it's from 2008...)

I don't like either of them. But fuck, the nazis here don't throw bottles and fire signal flares at people at May 1st. Unfortunatly, putting both of them in an arena and having them fight to death (preferably for both sides) is not an option it seems . Shame, might make good TV...
BTW, don't see it as defending the nazis, just see it as defending their right to make fools out of themselves in public . Listening to extremists is funny. I'm reminded of an old quote from a Swedish Neo-Nazi: "I'm going to move to a country that doesn't accept immigrants" We don't get any truely batshit outrageous people doing it here though, like flat-Earthers or similar . Just boring political shit.

In this fashion, no. I don't know (and don't want to know) the politics of it, but it's simply too hard on the train crew having to run people over. Ask any who've done it. If people want to kill themselves in stupid ways, let them do it without forcing someone else into being the instrument.

I've heard of train engineers who've hit people even by accident* suffering PTSD and other emotional trauma as a result. Some feel such remorse or horror that they can't return to work for a long time, if ever. So no, don't force that on an innocent train crew.

*Accidents such as people walking along the tracks and getting too close to the train, or trying to beat a train at a crossing, or jump onto one that was moving. This doesn't even include the number of people who jump in front of trains on purpose.

You guys are right, I hadn't thought of the train workers when giving my answer earlier. But my answer remains the same on letting them take themselves out of the gene pool, just not by using another to end their lives.

I'd still like to read an article about this. Anybody else have a link?

The idiots on the tracks or the shit that happens to train crews? I can dig for a link in English to the first...

Google translate for the call for action from the leftist group: http://translate.google.com/translat...or-och-svar%2F

                      Haven't found much else.

The "not much else" might be what I am looking for. All that linked article had provided was announcement before it was to happen. I want to read an account from one of the newspapers as to what had happened.

Yes because everything is deemed newsworthy, has an article written, and automatically ends up on the internet nanoseconds after it happens.

sorry this is a MAJOR pet peeve of mine, everyone now has the mindset that if you can't provide a link to a news article you're lying or only giving half the story, or it didn't happen at all. It's absurd. I've had people doubt the brutal murder of my stepbrother because my local paper didn't post the story online OUT OF RESPECT for the victims families(there were 3 others killed as well-they requested the paper not put the story online-sadly it was "interesting enough" that it did make the USA TODAY, and it is online there)

But, then we have things like this. This idiot, was hit by an Amtrak train while "walking along the tracks." If he was "walking along the tracks," the train probably wouldn't have hit him. Instead, I think he had his MP3 player a bit too loud, and was in the *middle* of the track. Considering I saw the train minutes before it happened, and I heard the horns, there's no way he couldn't have heard it.

Sadly, it's not the first time that someone has been hit on the tracks around town. All too often, people don't realize just how badly a train can fuck them up. They ignore the warnings, the danger, and then sue the railroad over their stupidity I don't know how it's their fault--in the location mentioned in the article I posted, there are several things meant to keep people off the damn tracks. Things like high walls, fences, no station platforms (unless you count the ones on the parallel Busway...and even those are relatively secure), and constant patrols by the transit cops.

With all that, if someone is stupid enough to be walking the rails and not paying attention, they *deserve* to get hit. Hell, why not make their survivors foot the bill for the locomotive crew's counseling, as well as cleaning the mess off the train?
