Things I hate, that even after all this time...I still came back to the scene of the crime -
Yeah, there's so much nonsense that goes into getting a job. I got the idea that, some time ago, you could actually just walk into a place and talk to the person who does the hiring and get hired if you were suitable, but now there's so much bullshit to go through.
Except I do agree -- I like "Don't call us, we'll call you." I rarely have to worry about following up (I'll follow up anyway if I REALLY want that job and they didn't say not to call) which is great for me because when I'm job-hunting I crank out so many applications (or application letters) that I can't even remember where I've applied to and it would be just about a full time job just to follow up on every one of them.Comment
