I'm afraid I don't know which one you're talking about.
I was referring to Days of Our Lives and Young and the Restless. I'm not so big on Days anymore, but that plot moves so slow, I only have to tune in once a week and still know what's going on. Y&R is the one I try to catch every day. But yeah, it seems everyone just keeps recycling one another's exes.

I swear that if soaps were real life, I would feel sorry for the small children cause they would NEVER know who to call Mommy or Daddy or Gram or Gramps and the counseling bill would rival the national debt. but then again some of the families I am familiar with are a living soap opera.I'm lost without a paddle and I'm headed up sh*t creek.
I got one foot on a banana peel and the other in the Twilight Zone.

I feel for you, hon.
My oldest son is about to turn 23. His biological father has 4 kids by 4 women. I am baby mama #2, and he is currently back together and living with baby mama #3 and has been for years. Baby #3 is 19 or so.
Baby mama #3 apparently still holds a grudge against me because I'm the only one of the four baby-mamas that he married. (It was annulled after 3 months, long story).
I wanna tell her that marrying him was the stupidest thing I've ever done, and certainly not worth holding a grudge over.

My friend's ex has 3 children by 3 different women, and he's only in his mid twenties.
One of my female friends has 2 kids by 2 different men. She got married young, was pregnant within a couple months of being married, left him before her 1st kid was a year old, hooked up with another guy, got pregnant, he dumped her and now she's onto another boyfriend.
And oh she hasn't even gotten her divorce finalized with her husband, and she's one of those "holier than thou" type of Christians. On her facebook page she thanks god for helping her conceive her two children. I wanted to say that I'm pretty sure it wasn't god, it was more like a lack of birth control or lack of using birth control properly that "helped" you conceive your kids.

As an update of sorts, I was browsing Jeremy's Facebook page earlier, and apparently he's trying to start problems with Baby Mama #4 and talking about going to court because he feels he has a right to see their daughter. (she's the only other one whom he is NOT on good terms with)
And while this doesn't affect me personally, it does bother me that people left supportive comments on his post, and that no one seems to think that maybe there IS a reason Jeremy doesn't get to see his fourth daughter, and that whatever HE wants isn't necessarily in her best interest. (my mom keeps saying I shouldn't let this bother me, but I do worry that Jeremy may try something like this with me in the future, because he HAS brought up court before)

I wouldn't worry.
This is one of the only times that the courts being more centered towards mothers is a good thing. When deadbeat guys all of a sudden out of nowhere decide that they want to be a part of the child's life (after a sudden spat with the mother or just to rattle cages), especially if the kid is more than a few years old, he'll need a lot of money and have to prove the hell out of himself able to be a father to the courts.

Oh, I do try not to worry........and I think it helps in my case that Jeremy is NOT on Heather's birth certificate, because according the laws in my state, he has no legal rights regarding her until/unless paternity is officially established. (as far as I know, all of his other baby mamas have filed something in court, so anything with those kids would be a little different)
