Irv, I've followed you on CS for years, and I'd never call you a martyr.

Honestly, I wouldn't call any members of either of these sites martyrs. Both places are intended to be safe havens to let out stuff that you can't to anyone else or anywhere else.

My bone-picking was intended for my coworkers. I work with a few too many people who like to toot their horns and pat themselves on the back so hard they could bruise, and they really shouldn't be doing that.

Trust me, Blas, I've been there. If you're self aware enough to know what you did in the last half hour when in that state, it's not a fun memory.

If you're not self aware enough to realise how obnoxious you've just been, you're a fucker. I mean that most sincerely. I've been that person. I'm aware enough to work on it.

I don't have to worry about being a martyr anymore, I FUCKING HATE going to my job can't wait to ship off for basic. Once, it was made clear I can't apply for better jobs as a cashier, I got off the shit shift and cut my hours. Then they had the exact job I used to do..... reaffirmed there is no getting promoted. Now, I won't take extra shifts unless they stick them on me at the beginning of the week. I don't want to go to work I hate it that much, there is just to much drama and it so aggravating, only reason I don't quit, is I get to live at my parents house as long as I'm working. And since I'm going to be leaving in a few months it pointless to switch crap jobs then leave.
