This is, by far, the STUPIDEST question I have ever heard! Like I go around injecting my face with pink eye for kicks. How the hell should I know where I got it?

Now i have to go to the cheap clinic, which still sets me back $200, and who knows how much for a prescription.

God damn it, I'll never be able to move at this rate. T-T

The last time I had pink eye (probably age 16 or 17), a lot of kids who tormented me about my makeup choices went around saying that I got pink eye because I wore so much eye makeup. Hey, dumb hicks.....I never shared makeup with anyone. So no, that's not how I got it. You can get infections from your own cosmetics, you can get pink eye from sharing makeup with others. K?

But yeah I heard it's caused by the cold virus, usually if you somehow transfer the germs from your nose to your eyes.

I had conjunctivitis recently. It started out as a sinus infection, which I get with depressing regularity. Thankfully, it almost never moves into my eyes.

There are a lot of different causes, including irritation and allergies. More often than not, it's not contagious and will clear up on its own.
